I'll add some information here. I grabbed a pair of front springs from an 05 Tundra access cab in a salvage yard that have similar measurements to the ones you have. They also came off a 4x2. They're not OEM though so take this info with a grain of salt.

Hmm, RWD may make them lighter, but yes, thanks for sharing data! 👍

Maybe. Like I said, the entire strut assembly was aftermarket. A quick look through rock auto doesn't provide separate part numbers for the different drivetrains or cab configurations. It's a "one size fits all" approach from the looks of it.

They were inexpensive though. I have those FJC Bilsteins to try them on and can report back. All in, I'm under three bills for the setup.

Yeah, those were a sweet score! 🤘
And they have the circlip notches for adjustable preload/ride height (I couldn't quite tell from the pic). 👍

So those Tundra springs were a bust. There was no hope of using them. Luckily, the local salvage yard does take returns and gives store credit. They happened to have a couple of first gen 4WD Sequoia Limited's in the yard and I snagged these springs here:

I tested them on those FJC struts I picked up and they definitely seat on the OEM spring seats. The previously mentioned aftermarket Tundra coils would not. Too narrow.

Ooh sequoia! May be higher rate b/c wagon! Cool! Or similar rate to GX but taller.
Yeah, makes sense the coils may have been off and not work in the 5100s, since aftermarket on that tundy, but sequoias! Cool trial!!

Driver @ 15" with pass @ 14.75, I think that's a scosh taller than the Tundras I got (whitch matched GX height).
I wonder how they'll ride... Might just give a little lift, might ride roughly.

But thickness isn't end-all be-all though. Could be a different temper, blahblahblah.

This will be another cool spring experiment!🤘

@DRANGED so I made my attempt at throwing those Sequoia coils on this past weekend. At the time of assembly, I noticed the new UCA I installed (OE replacement) seemed to make contact at full droop. The perspective was from the wheel rather than from the side like you did here:

I don't believe I was making contact but I didn't look at the clearance from the perspective in your post and can't be certain. There were some other complications to say the least and out of frustration/too much time spent under the truck/forecasted weather, I put the OE GX coils on the 5100's at the stock height setting.

Looking back, I did notice I gained nearly an inch of height in the front due to the collapsed lower bushings on what I imagine were the original front struts. This would explain why I saw about three inches of lift with the Sequoia springs on the 0.83" perch. For now, I'm going to ride around on the 5100's at stock height and will readdress the lift when I have less going on (work travel, family visiting, etc.).
