Any interest in having a swap meet next spring? My thought would be a Saturday afternoon event, complete with club-sponsored potluck picnic/bbq. No wheeling, just horse trading.

Next spring would give those interested a chance to go through the hoard and see what they can part with.

I know I could contribute!

Parts

And I would gladly get rid of a whole garage full of stuff!

bring it ! I can set what I'm not going to need on a shelf and bring it..
awesome idea!

huh?

Come on man! First Annual? Didn't you learn anything in college? It can be the first ever, but not the first annual. Why I felt the need to tell you this...I have no idea  I have a few parts and I would try to attend.

Got a location in mind? I know there are a few folks in Tall Corn Cruisers with literally garage(s) full of parts...my collection is just starting, but I'd be up for some shopping... :D

I'm in. Maybe mix it up and have this with a wrenching weekend?

I'd envisioned something more social than a wrenching weekend. We'd probably be looking at a public park or similar space that would allow participants to set their stuff out instead of working out of the back of a truck. I also thought it'd be good to have a potluck & BBQ later in the afternoon. Just a good family-oriented get together.

As far as location goes - probably west side of KC towards Lawrence areas come to mind.

If we don't come up with a park setting, my company is on the southwest side of Leavenworth, about 20 minutes northwest of the Kansas Speedway/Legends area. We've got a large concrete parking lot, break room and tables for food, and men's/women's restrooms available. Not much for the kids to do, but plenty of space and we wouldn't be bothered. I offer it to the group as a fallback if nothing better comes along.

Love to go, whenever it is.
