1hz headgasket - 3 notch or 5 notch?

I'm repairing a 1hz to put in my fj40 project.

I took a 3 notch head gasket off of it (original? Likely but I can't confirm its history). I measured cylinder protrusion and found most were at .021 to .022" and one cylinder at .024".

Should I put a 5 notch gasket on? I have both 3 and 5 notch gaskets on hand.

It'll run a low boost turbo with conservative fueling.

Your measurements are falling between the categories because of rounding when they convert to inches. If you convert your measurements to metric units it will become more apparent.
