Lucky its a left hand drive, nice driver weight balancing. Nope not jealous at all.:frown:nice work new you'd do it.

Well I could always use my new OBA to pump up air bags to correct any unbalanced weight :bounce:

Nice job! I have one on my 1FZ and its a great OBA setup. Hope to fit it to my new engine down the road too.

When does the airbag swap start?

Quick plug on air bags. I saw a little Suzuki on skinnies school the mud boggers in a sick whole ,he went in with no air ,stopped in the worst spot, that everyone had to burn through. Air up right out of the mud ,must have been well over a foot of lift, and rocked his truck back forth side to side , corner to corner ,all airbaggs were able to run individually ,literally it was like shovelling mud under the tires Made the monster mudders look like school kids. I was totally blown away how easy he made it through. Oh and it was super, super fast ,which was abviously the key besides been able to run any or all combinations at any time. Never did really look at the inside but must have had a gimble setup. Go for it ,I know you can do it.

Got my A/C lines lengthened. 4" extra length on the line that goes to the firewall, and almost 2 feet extra on the one to the condenser, as it has to coil around behind and under the battery tray. The V-belt probably won't come off and on again without removing the battery tray... pretty tight clearance.

Put on some new o-rings and dryer, pulled a vacuum and it held for an hour, so I guess it's all sealed, so I charged it up with Duracool. Just in time for winter... Oh well it will help me de-fog :)

Also hooked the intake of the York up to my air intake with a bulkhead fitting while I had it off.

Regarding air bags, I have bags inside my rear coils already, and I am planning to put some in the front too, as they are pretty cheap. I'd like to hook up some solenoids so I can adjust them from inside the truck. (Actually, I already ordered some solenoids online but they seem to leak so I will send them back.)

Maybe one day if I am happy with the air setup and want more adjustment I will remove the coil springs and run rolling sleeve style bags. But it is pretty tight around the front knuckles... And I'm a little concerned about the reliability of running straight air bags... At least now if I lose pressure I've still got the coils to get me home!

Ok, did about an hour of driving today with the A/C on. I can hear the occasional "chirp" when the compressor cycles on... So I will be looking for a new smooth tensioner pulley that can push the belt down, so it has more wrap on the compressor pulley...

Great retro man.
