With much regret, I am looking to trade/part trade plus cash for this vehicle. I don't have any pictures at the moment.
I recently purchased the vehicle for my wife from a fellow member. Always garaged/never smoked in. We park way out in the parking lot to avoid any potential door dings when grocery shopping.
The mileage is original at just under 37,000 miles.
Some info:
97 LX450 (36,949 original miles) Triple Locks, OME 861+1/862+1, 285/75/16 Yokohama Geolandar A/TS (5), CDL switch w/ 7-pin mod, ARB Front Bumper & Warn 12k winch, MAF 25 gal. Aux tank, Slee ltg. harness (2) and PIAA/Hella fog & driving lts. Cruisin Offroad rear bumper & swing away spare tire and more. Full records. Needs nothing. All modifications professionally installed. Original stereo system. Factory roof rack.
Color: Dark Green w/Charcoal Trim/tan interior
My wife has severe arthritis and this was purchased for her. However, she has had nothing but difficulty accessing the cargo area (a must when you have a 5 y.o. child) and climbing in/out of it, so she has taken over my 4runner.
The swing out tire carrier makes it darn near impossible for her to access the cargo area since she has to pull the lever down and swing the tire to the left. The vehicle has a slight lift (OME, Slee).
This is a very difficult decision since this was her dream vehicle and the probability of ever finding another anywhere close to its condition/low mileage is very low. We considered altering the rear bumper but after careful consideration it doesn't make sense. The added height of running boards makes it difficult/awkward entering/exiting.
****I would like to find a Toyota Double Cab Tacoma in equal condition with low mileage (under 50k) and 4wd (straight trade) or a daily driver Toyota Pickup/Tacoma (no lift. daily driver, 2wd or 4wd, worth up to 5k) + cash.****
PM if you are interested. I'd prefer not to bother the previous owner with questions since he was so kind to us when we bought it and for privacy purposes. We thought we'd own this long term and paid a premium for it. I do have all the records since it was new. The underside and engine compartment are immaculate. I have kept it in my heated garage during my ownership (not too long) and the previous owner did the same.
Just purchased Wet Okole (black/charcoal with rear seat pockets) seat covers for front and 2nd row seats (still in boxes) and also Husky Liners/Weathertech bug guard.
Tough decision but have no choice. I drive a fair amount and need the added mpg that a Tacoma would offer. Must be 4 doors since we are adopting another child and need the additional room/flexibility. A daily driver would be something I could use for dump runs/commuter.
Not interested in selling/patiently waiting for the right trade. Thanks.
Pics coming (might be 1-2 days).
PM for more details. I will do my best to respond as quickly as possible.
