Thank you, it’s been a fast ride. I’m not sure on the protection plate but I believe most of the HZJ75 fire trucks had them.

The rims are stock Toyota split rims 16” from Australia I believe. No spacers needed. I took them off of my FJ45lpb to try. The tires are my favorite size for my 45’s and I like how they look on the 75. They are 255/85/16’s.

Regards
Mark

Just received my new EscapeGear seat covers..Wow…fantastic. Still settling in and readjusting as they get warm and I couldn’t be happier with them if anyone is on the fence…😀 they sent the wrong headrest covers but we will get that straightened out.

I got a few PM’s about color choice so here’s what I did. I

went with the darker Poly Canvas instead of the lighter grey that matches the original seat color. However, I think it’s a better match with the dash and floor mats. Either would be a good choice if you are considering.

Thanks Nolan, it’s really been fun and I love driving it.

Are you planning to add a winch to your front bumper? 8274 looks great on the front of a 70!

I do have a 8274 that I rebuilt last winter but was going to put it on the FJ45. I bought a bumper from OPmachine in anticipation but then this 70 series thing happened… still trying to decide…which one gets a 8274 first.

nice!
wish these came in a lhd

Not a big deal to me. I’ve driven Fire Trucks my whole adult life that you needed to steer one direction to go the other 😀LHD would be nice but not a deal killer to get this type of Land Cruiser that’s basically a like new 25y/o truck with 15,000 miles on the clock.. Toyota never built a four door Land Cruiser pickup before 2012 except for these if I’m not mistaken..

The only problem with the 8274 compared to others is that the upright nature makes the bumper stick out farther than the other type of winches, loose some approach angle. But I still ended up using one in mine, especially since I already had it. Had to move the bumper forward about 3-4”.

My 8274 fits my 75 without any modifications in my ARB bull bar

Nice. I had to move the original aftermarket bumper forward to make room for the winch on mine.
I use an industrial 12klb warn, which is quite larger than the regular warn winches, and the bumper sticks out quite a bit.
Never had any issues yet, but not nuch rockcrawling or huge steps encountered so far.

I haven’t test fit the 8274 on my ARB bumper yet. Are you saying that the ARB bumper will need to be moved forward several inches to accommodate the 8274 ? If so the 8274 will be going on the FJ45😀

prwillard2 comment reminded me that I did use this winch in a ARB bumper I had on the BJ70 a long time ago, it was a good fit. The one on my Ute is a old style bumper from a unknown manufacturer but looks like a original ARB bumper from the 80's.

Which model of the ARB bumper did you get?

If you got the "deluxe" ARB bull bar (SKU#3412130) it will fit with no issues, just a few swear words as you're lifting that heavy mother into position by yourself.
