Hi Guys,

I'm local (San Diego) and I've got a 1997 FZJ80 for sale or trade. Here's the link from the classifieds - FS: For sale or trade - 1997 FZJ 80 - IH8MUD.com.
And the ad:
For sale or trade - Built 1997 FZJ 80 - San Diego, CA
I bought this rig just about 3 months back but I think I want to go in a slightly different direction. Originally this rig was meant to replace my trailer queen Jeep and it's well suited to do that, but recently we decided that we could get rid of our Suburban and replace it with the Cruiser. To do that though, I'd rather have something that's a little more street friendly, lower lift, smaller tires, etc...

So, I'm thinking of selling or trading this 80. To sell, I want $8000 firm and for a trade I'm looking for a clean 95-97 FZJ80/LX450, leather interior, 3rd row and hopefully with some moderate mods. I'm not worried about lockers because I'd like to run ARB's. I don't need to sell it and if nothing turns up I'll just work on making this one more street friendly, but I figured I'd throw it out there and see if anyone is interested. Here's a link to the previous owners ad - https://forum.ih8mud.com/vehicles-tra...ed-locked.html - the rig is in the same condition with the exception that I had the muffler replaced to quiet it down a little.

Thanks for looking. Located in San Diego, CA.

OCII spotted today

OCII,
I saw a rig that looked like yours today in esco at Ash & Lincoln Ave at 2:45 this afternoon. Nice looking rig!

If it were me I would put some 315s on it, get a cheap Earl Scheib job and fix that locker, and call it a day.

You have some really good quality mods that you would have to spend a lot to get back. :)

Yeah, I'm gonna keep it. I'm getting some Bilstein 7114 reservoir shocks for the front and maybe a swaybar. Some smaller tires on another set of wheels would be nice for around town and light wheeling. I might do an ARB in the rear, if I can afford it.
