I have access to a 1994 H55F w a t-case (I am assuming a split case but I will check on Monday before I buy it). I am also assuming it is a 1FZE as it’s out of a SA truck and it’s too new for 3Fs.

Can I swap in a 10 spline F/2F/3F input shaft into this late of an H55F? Are the 10 spline shafts easy enough to come by?

eBay and Google say they are not easy to come by. I want to mate the H55F to a F.5/F155 in my 1973 FJ43 (I know I’ll have to mess w the crossmember). From what I understand you can NOT swap in a late 40/60 series H42 shaft into an H55F.

That makes faaaaaaaaar more sense behind a 1FZ.

Yes, you'll need a 10 spline input.

But if they are manual t-cases behind a H151, they may not mount to the H55F. You need the BF1x split t-case variety.

Like these 😎

Hahaha I respect the product placement. I will be circling back when I have units in hand. Luckily the cases come already attached so I’m not concerned about fitment tho I will check IDs to be sure.

Yes, 10 spline input shafts are easy to come by, we have them in stock (part# TRSHFT60121 @ Cruiser Outfitters, we can ship you a handful today :D)

However, we'd really need to know exactly what it was originally mated too in order to determine which bearing retainer it has or will need. They are not all cross-compatible. I also doubt it was mated to a 1FZFE, in SA those would have been H150/H151 in that era.
Searching high a low for the pt number on your site. Only turning up a clutch piece?

The CruiserTeq.com sites has just ~33% of our in-stock parts at current, we are adding more weekly. Slow moving parts (such as 10spl input shafts for an H55F) will take some time :D

However, like all parts, simply call or email our parts team and they'll get it shipped today!
