Time to officially post it up for sale.

1991 FJ80
180k ish miles

I'll start with the BAD:

Cruise Control turns on, but does not engage.

Rust. Yes, but not all that much, the pics will show.

Running boards and OEM roof rack are long gone.

Front Knuckles could use a rebuild.

Silver paint on the roof is flaking.

Now what I feel is the GOOD:

Solid baseline is only about 3k miles old. Now what did I do for the baseline?:

Upper and Lower intakes completely disassembled, and media blasted inside and out. Fuel injectors rebuilt and flow matched by Witchhunter Performance, Throttle Body rebuilt. OEM Cap,Rotor, Wires, and NGK plugs. The obligitory OEM fuel, Air, and oil filters. Most vacuum lines replaced. Both intake tubes OEM replacements. Timing is kicked up a little. New Cats, OEM O2 sensors, and muffler. Fuel filler and overflow lines replaced due to dry rotting. Front brake pads and rotors and wheel bearings have about 5k miles on them too Starter was rebuilt about the same time as the base-lining. Within the last 1500 miles the radiator has been replaced (not OEM).

Non stock parts:

It's OEM, but not stock, Snorkel

Front bumper is totally custom, and made for a winch. he lower grille bezel was cut for fitment of a Warn 9k lb winch, but it should fit most of that size winches. No mount holes drilled int the mounting plate.

Stereo is not stock, nor are the speakers.

Wheels and tires: 285/75x17 BFG MT KM's on 2007 FJC aluminum wheels.

No it does not have lockers!

Yes the electric windows work.

Yes the A/C works

Yes the Moon Roof works.

So, where is this thing?

South Mississippi. Yes my location, is Rosamond California, but the rig is actually my mother's and she lives in South Mississippi.

Now the big question, What am I trying to get out of it? $4000 NOT ANYMORE. DROPPED TO $3500

Trying for a good mix of pics here. Yes a "Glamour Shot". That one is about 2 years old. The rest were taken over the 2010 Christmas holidays, and when the bumper was built about 3 years ago.

Previous pics are of the passenger side wheel flare, foreward rocker for the rear passenger wheel well, and the clean one is the driver side rocker.

You guessed it, those were underhood shots. Let's see what's next.

Those were shots of the knuckles obviously, and the "custom" badges I did. Next Up?

The silver paint flaking on the roof I mentioned. Of note on the silver paint. It is the DupliColor PaintShop Pro stuff from the corner parts store, so touch-up is actually cheap and simple if you have a compressor, and spray gun. Lastly a few detail shots of the bumper, and the snorkel parts.

I am trying to be as open and honest as possible with the description, as helping my mom sell this via long distance is somewhat difficult. I have higher resolution pics if anyone wants me to send them via e-mail as well. Again.

Location: South Mississippi. Little town between Pascagoula and Ocean Springs, named Gautier

How Much: $4000

PM me if interested.

weekend bump

bump for a good looking truck. I really like your front bumper, its what ive been wanting to build for my charcoal grey 91.

Btw, when i bought my truck i paid more than your asking price and it had 188000miles without any aftermarket goodies. The paint and body were almost perfect though and it had a bunch of recent maintenance. Your asking price seems great to me. Good luck with sale.

What tires are these - like 'em. Good luck -

bumity bump.

Time to bump it again.

Weekly Bump!

Price is not "firm".

Another bump to top

Had a couple people (not from here on "mud") back out at the last minute recently. Price is negotiable, but don't go American Pickers/Pawn Stars.
