thanks for the compliments guys, appreciated.

i live in the salt belt so aluminum was the only real choice i had.
this winter, if i can squeeze it in, i want to strip down to the frame and get it powder coated and do a full PC of the diffs, tray ...
or
i can just park it come winter and put it back on the road when spring hit ...

HUMMM????

Wayne, You can always leave the FJ75 with me during the Winter.
The only salt we use during any season is on our "fried foods".:)

probably be just as safe at your house as at mine.

so, too much mental cleansing going on last night. i am thinking of propane/turbo the engine instead of diesel swap.
anyone have any info on this idea i can glean? straight propane, not a combination swap.

70 series decks

Since we are still on the subject of 70 series decks look what I found today - quite a few of the trucks here, last of the 70 series shape, this being a 79 series. The next model after this here in NZ was the 70 series V8. The tipping deck however is pretty rare,

I expected a few comments about the truck from you 70 series starved northerners. Any of these over your way or anywhere else for that matter apart from us in NZ and our cousins in Australia??
