That's really weird. Mine just rolled over and tripped the t-belt light as well, but I had no similar issues with the overboost light coming on. I've got the newer cluster with no green boost light though. My old truck had the same cluster as yours, and no issue when it rolled over and tripped the t-belt light either.

Glad you got it sorted regardless.

Not sure where your going with the mine turned over and the light didn't come on. This is a bulb ground short issue not a speedo trip thing right . To be clear this Could have been any bulb in the cluster or even remotely tied to the cluster (flashers turn backup lights even shifter related ). He just got lucky and basically unplugged the easiest suspect bulb by reseting the tripper. Funny I have had three trucks that didn't even have the hole in the cluster glass to reset the trip I had to drill the glass (well plastic).

No green light on my '93. Only ever saw the orange for a brief moment when I hammered it to pass some dorkball holding up traffic.

IanB I think your correct, one has nothing to do with the other. As indicated by wrongway around it is probably a short somewhere. I will continue to monitor for any strange shorting issues regarding dash lights. As I go further into the truck regarding modifying and upgrading or repairing, I will keep the dash light/ground issue in mind. I was thinking of doing the LED mods for dash lights and cabin lights but at this time it is a want not a need.

I'm saying that resetting the t-belt light may have made the symptom go away, but the problem still exists.
