Time for a change.

This is a 2 owner FJ62 with a lot of modifications. Very road-worthy, the central idea for the build was to keep the truck looking as stock as possible while pushing the limits of what the truck can do. It may not look stock to you, but start looking at the specs and realize that it is truly UNSTOCK.

The truck came from the Memphis to Jackson MS 9 years ago. It has never once seen a salty road..

Bump for a nice looking rig, my wife has been trying to talk me into trading my 81 BJ42 in for something a little more family friendly and yours actually makes me consider trading in my baby

Send me some details!

The bumper has an un-used spindle on the PS. Sale includes the outer part of the spindle, bearings, an extra clamp for the bumper. I had all this stuff custom made by a machinist buddy on mud, since Kaymar wouldn't sell it separately.

From there you can design and build whatever you want for that side.

Hey, beautiful truck... good luck to you

and ..bump

How many miles are on the new tranny? Fantastic rig.

I don't know for sure, but I'll guess around 40K.

Receipt for the Australian rebuilt transmission with Extreme Stage II re calibrated valve body, torque converter and Temp gauge is dated 6/10/05. That's about the time the truck was retired from DD duties, with the exception of some of 2010.

Cooler was installed early on. MacNamera tcase input gear had about 5K on it when I did the transmission, so the splines were like new.

The transmission is not a concern on this truck. At all, for the foreseeable future.

Wow, great price and beautiful truck. I'm nearly tempted to sell my 60 and jump on this. If only I didn't have sentimental value to my 60 and a new H55...... For those who don't already know, I'd be willing to bet you can't find another truck this built for the price, especially from a true cruiser head that has taken care of it and modified it correctly. Prior ownership is so key with a land cruiser, a bone stock $5k truck can easily need $1-2k in maintenance. Good luck with the sale, nice rig!

Maybe I could trade Rock Midget's photos for a hunnerd!

you don't want a 100, you want my 80?????

OEM sliding rear windows. I bought these when it was cool to buy them. Then I did a swing out rear bumper with a 35 on it, and realized how practical they are. They lock securely, but I rarely leave the locked during trips because I use the windows to get gear in and out. I tinted the glass before I put the windows in.
