Depends on who is doing it. Competent shop with appropriate tools, 10 hours seems reasonable, or doing on a weekend in your gravel driveway, it'll be spread out over two weekends.
 
Consider clutch, thrust bearing, spigot bearing, transmission shaft input seal whilst you've got it open.. be a shame to have to go back in there again any time soon.

US spec 62's are automatics
 
10 hours is generous, to say the least. Trans and transfer come out together. Trans lines, linkage, driveshafts, skid if it's still there, misc stuff.

6 is closer to reality imho. One (work) day job for sure.
