1987 Pickup 22r 800,000 miles

I have a 87 pickup with 22r motor with a 21r head the 21r head has matching intake ports and exhaust ports but has the 20r dome shaped combustion like a hemi head I went with the double link timing chain and steel guides but with the miles it has I need to overhaul. At this time I have no oil in water and no water in oil but a foam type oil film on radiater cap any suggestions
