1987 land cruiser fj60 in Boston (rust free TX vehicle)

back up for sale. been too busy with work and travel. id like to sell as it is, it runs but needs a carb rebuild. i also have a rebuilt carb that i bought from a ih8mud forum member, its included.

it runs, it just doesnt idle with the foot off the accelerator except when the AC is on.

losing storage space. major price drop.

the idle issue is a vacuum issue that i havent been able to track down. did do a compression test and it passed without issues.

1 - 153 psi
2 - 147 psi
3 - 146 psi
4 - 145 psi
5 - 148 psi
6 - 149 psi

i wish i could hold on to it, i did as long as i could. i still drive it a few days a week, it acts as my weekly cruiser fix. i gota check out your 60 one of these days in albany.

Did you figure out the vacuum problem? Even though the body is in excellent shape, for $2900 I want something I can hop into and go. I'd be driving it home a pretty far distance.

i installed a rebuilt carb and checked the compression. no issues there. its a vacuum problem that i havent been able to diagnose, hence the price drop.

Hello , very interested in the fj60, I currently reside in florida but was plan on coming up north for a family visit to PA around christmas time. I would be willing to fly up and pick up the truck if you think she's worry of atleast a 400 mile trip to PA where i'll be staying for a week or so. Let me know, anymore extra shots of interior and exterior ( particularly where the rear frame is under the truck, and a decent shot of the frame rails) It looks like a clean truck and i'm no tire kicker right now, I'm def. interested in the truck....
