1985 4runner hood latch cable (1 Viewer)

hi all,

I'm looking for a hood release cable for an 85 4runner. Part number 53660-89110. It seems to be discontinued. There is a part number 53630-89111 for 86-89. Does anyone know where to get the right part, or have used the later cable? It's the same body, just IFS, so I'm a bit confused as to why its a different number. Thanks

I can't believe that they are, as they are the same body, but I've also found that when Mr. T says it doesn't fit, it might not fit. Guess it's only like $30, might be worth the gamble.

Nothing says it won't fit. It's just a different part number.
