Having given much thought and debate, I am putting up for sale my FJ60. Just purchased an FZJ80 which is taking up my time and really don't want the 60 to sit around and not be appreciated. I have owned for several years and am the 4th owner (3rd owner only had it for six months and needed to sell). Very well documented and spent 90+% of it's life in AZ and CA as a grocery getter owned by a doctor. Maintenance records show it was extremely well cared for (no real off-roading) by Toyota dealer directly and a professional shop. Engine re-build 12k ago and runs strong. Prior records show lots of on-going work as needed over the years and too much to list. I have personally put roughly 5k miles on it since owned and use as a fun around town driver and to show.
(things I have completed since owning)
Engine:
- De-smogged (still have all parts)
- New cap and rotor
- New Leads
- New Plugs
- Replaced manifold due to leak
- Factory New OEM Exhaust, muffler, header
- Replaced some hoses as needed
- New Fuel Filter
- OEM Windshield Washer reservoir.
- Removed headlight washer reservoir due to cracks.
- A few drips here and there but nothing out of the normal
- Radiator Replaced for general purpose
Exterior:
- OME 2.5 lift
- Replaced factory rims and tires (still have and convey with sale)
- BFG KO's 33" x 10.5" and bullet hole steel rims comes with 5th full-size tire and matching rim.
- Tinted windows all way around
- Factory paint and I was planning on having it painted this winter but will let someone else do.
- Windshield area on a-frame has slight spot rust and will need to be prepped during next paint job.
- Undercarriage is clean with only typical surface rust on the leafs and here and there. will probably treat and paint shortly.
- Front Diff is serviced regularly and locked in and out at least once a month. ( personally have only had this off road myself twice since owned.
- seals look good
- Transmission shifts smoothly and clutch is tight. Regularly serviced.
- Safari roof rack has surface rusting and has been painted once by me but could stand another more professional powder coat. Wooden slates could stand to be replaced as well. Was planning on putting down carbon grate flooring on it and call it a day.
- Headlights replaced with brighter bulbs
- Body overall in great shape. A few dents in the hood from hail but I've lived with it and isn't bad at all. Maybe three small spots. Few light surface rust showing in spots but not deep. Only topical.
Interior:
- 8 out of 10
- Original seats and covers are in excellent shape with a tear only on drivers side in typical place.
- Headliner is perfect with no blemishes or cuts
- Carpet in great shape
- Dash and instruments look new (all original)
- New Kenwood bluetooth stereo with upgraded speakers
- All electrical, dome lights, etc. are in working condition
- Door locks and windows all in perfect shape
Price $15,000 Firm or possible trade for late model Tacoma or Tundra. Located in Northern Florida
Serious inquires only please. Appreciate it!
