This is the closest to Bozeman in the $2000 range, however there are a few with 260,000 miles for sale in the Gallatin Valley in the $4000-$6000 range...learning about 'Cruisers is at least as important as the other stuff they teach in college!

dgreenbluet- keep this one in mind, there has not been any significantly interested buyers yet for some unknown reason. It will probably still be for sale in another month or two...

Dont worry I got my eye on it.

I'll be in touch end of August

I dont need student loans for school bcuz i have the gi bill so might as well use it to get a sweet ride and pay on it before i graduate, interest free loan!

Somebody buy this!!!!!

I keep seeing many cruisers in my area in the same condition going for $4000-$5000!!!

Read the full ad here and you will get full disclosure of the condition of this vehicle.

As previously stated, it will need a new/rebuilt/new-used carburator to drive more than a 30 mile test drive. If you want to drive it on a highway or interstate, I the owner, would not do that until the carb issue is addressed. It stalls out on inclines which leads me to beleive that it is a needle valve or float problem in the carb.

You can rent a tow rig and trailer from UHAUL for about $200 a day, which would probably be cheaper than a new carb. rent a tow rig and own your own FJ60!!! Or buy a used carb on MUD for $150, and take an hour or two to install it and tune it and then drive the Interstate!!!

Hate to say it but this is gonna be on Ebay after Christmas...

mickeyt- I have seen used or rebuilt carburators, both local or on mud classified, for $150-$250 or so. I bet a new Toyota one is not cheap and probably upwards of $500 or something. Plus elbow grease and tuning the choke and carb, an hour or two.

Then a few engine gaskets and elbow grease. Then tune up stuff. I bet it would be a sweet rig if you replaced the few things listed above in the post and put a few hundred into it. All said you could probably have a sweet rig for $3000 with a minimal tune up/upgrade a few parts.

I basically base-lined this rig, lost an engine in my gas-saver, devoted too much $$$ to that project, then started to wheel my Tacoma heavily and would like to replace the suspension under it. i have had the FJ60 in 4WD, and done some mild hill crawls in 4low. It is a really comfortable off-road ride, definately more comfortable than my Tacoma, any of my Hiluxes, or the short wheelbase of my old FJ40.

Shifts smooth, transfer case is in good shape and shifts well, all 4WD works great.
