1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 Troopy. Clean Montana Title. Price $19,500
Original 2F straight 6 petrol engine and 4 speed transmission. Odometer 270,000KM = 167,770 Miles
Engine drives strong at 110KM on the freeway. Transmission gears shift smooth. It has good power going uphill in the mountains. Engine does not overheat, It has a 90 degree Thermostat, keeps engine cooler.
Power steering.
Air conditioning, works, needs freon.
No heater.
Center dash switch panel that only came in 1983 and 1984 models.
It has original front seats and 4 rears. The covers are in bad shape.
The body has a few dents. The firewall is solid with no rust. Paint is okay. All the doors are solid with no cancer but they will need weatherstrips and panels. The 2nd sliding window support on the passenger side is cracked.
Interior floor panels have spots that has cancer, 1 just behind the driver seat on the rear floor panel and the 2nd is in the left bottom panel of the driver seat. Overall the floor is in better condition. See pictures.
The chassis has no rust and it is straight. The rear exhaust tail pipe has a few welds on it.
It has 4 wheels drum brakes that work great almost new. I rarely have to pump brakes twice for it to stop. I dont speed with it.
It can be converted to disk brakes.
As a source of income This troopy was used to transport kindergarten kids to school and back in Bahrain. This Troopy has never been abused but was neglected.
It needs love and care. There are small parts and accessories missing on this 45 and parts are widely available in the US market.
