I just posted by mistake detailed ad on the FJ43 side! I have three trucks now and I guess I have FJ43 on the brain!

Volcan 4x4 is my company and I just bought this great 1982 FJ40. I hope to review and export it to Florida in early May. This is a great truck! It has a 4 inch Rough Country lift with 285 series 33 inch mud tires.

I am asking $39,900 for this FJ40. Also the Patrol and the FJ43 are for sale for the same price.

You can go to the FJ43 side and see more photos. Sorry for the inconvenience. Enjoy the photos. Fun to have such unique trucks in one place.

Yea nice trio you have there for sure! We all on Mud trust you but for the eBay randoms I bet they'd be more willing to bid/buy once it's officially in the states and registered/titled - no harm in listing while it's still in another country but just my 2 cents. Really good eye for finding and fine tuning the right look for those - best with the sales and company.

I agree. Please tell that to Colombia as I had the trucks ready friday to put into a container and the truck never showed! After the Mecum auction it seems that people are learning more about Volcan 4x4/ me and are interested in the trucks. I put them here really for the guys to see them bec it is fun. Some of the established UK Land Rover Defender outfits take deposits for upcoming trucks. The deposits are $5000 and refundable and go to my LLC in Florida. Once I get moving I will have trucks either consigned in Tampa or arriving. I already have strong buyer leads and offers on these 3 trucks. Again with time I think if someone wants one they are better off putting up a deposit and be in line for the next truck. There are more buyers than these rare trucks are available and I can only process them as fast as I can. For instance if someone wants the FJ43 for summer and they pass on the red one, it may be late May or June before I can find, repair and send another one. It is very hard to move around down here and the time it costs to buy a truck is almost 2 weeks from the day you make the deal with the seller if you can believe that. I enjoy all the positive and constructive criticism here as I develop my business. I started in August 2013 and now am ramping up.

photo.webp Just drove the Nissan yesterday. I really love this truck. The motor is sooo smooth. Completely different animal than the 2F. People love the Nissan but I can tell it is not as commercially successful as the Toyotas. Have to find the right buyer who enjoys the uniqueness. I love it but I just dont fit in the cramped front bench.

In a few months when I get my exporting/shipping process smoothed out I am going to try to offer more affordable yet high quality trucks in the $29,900 range. I also have an idea for a special promotion for Mud members. Maybe send some trucks that are solid candidates to restore. The main issue is the time and cost it takes me to get a truck to the USA for now I have to be in the higher retail price range. By the time I find and get a decent truck in my name I am better off to send it for paint and repairs etc. That is actually the easy part down here. The finding/transferring to my name/ exporting paperwork is the worst. Enjoy the trucks! I have a goal of sending 10 trucks this year 2014. I have 3 so far.

The Nissan is under deposit to be sold. I am taking $5000 refundable deposit to my LLC. Buyer flies to Tampa and reviews the truck or accepts it via the photos. If the buyer does not like the truck they don't have to buy it. I put extensive videos and photos on facebook and youtube to show everything about the trucks. I also drive the trucks up the mountain road and as much as I can to see what they need (somewhat hard to do in the city). Otherwise they are garage kept until I sell them. I think this tan FJ40 will be under deposit too very soon.

I took this truck to my paint guy we are going to paint the entire floor with textured paint (no rust just looks grimy) and also paint the underside with a new coat of protective black paint. Plus add new exhaust. Doesn't really need it but will make it nice and clean like the rest of it. I thought I had it sold but the buyer backed out (he has an FJ43 already!). This is a great truck enjoy the photos.

Finally. After a weeks of paperwork got the Nissan and the FJ43 loaded into the container today to go to the coast and onto Miami then Tampa!!! The FJ40 will go next trip probably early May. My process should be set up more smoothly by then.

Discounted the beige truck to $35,900. Thanks. Ads on ebay and soon hemmings.com. I am getting two custom rear half doors made too and painting beige. Also adding 2 bumperettes. Should allow 4 guests to pile in back.

Truck upgrades are complete now. Will arrive early June. The red FJ43 and the blue Nissan are sold now. This dune beige trucki is a nice truck. Completely painted the bottom of the truck and also painted the top floors in textured paint. new custom rear half doors added to allow easier access for passengers in the back. New oversize exhaust and stainless steel muffler added. This is my third Fj40/43 and it runs the strongest and the most fun to drive. compression in the 115 to 120's range but stronger than the red FJ43 which had 145/150 compression numbers.

Ever think about selling non restored trucks? I'm interested in an FJ43 but would like to do the resto myself...

I am doing FJ43s starting at $30,000. I have some FJ40s that I am going to do for $25,000. Feel free to email me. These trucks have so much deferred maintenance (this grey one was actually pretty good) that I prefer to bring them all up to date. I can do the work quickly and affordably. It allows to keep my margin as the shipping is expensive. Also if a client backs out of the deal I now have an unfinished truck in the USA without the support of my mechanics and paint guys. But feel free to email me. I look at more FJ43s than probably anyone out there. I look for the rust free original floors ones but sometimes will buy a nicely repaired floor one.
