I have for sale a 1982 FJ40 from Florida. I purchased a rust free top from NV which I will include with this sale it has a lid with an excellent headliner , the sides and doors are in primer ready to paint. This truck has the floor mats and the jack and tools , it runs well but has

a small exhaust leak. It has manual steering , I have a complete OEM power steering setup if desired for additional price. The front and rear brakes are new.The tires are new , the front springs are new . If interested PM me or call 201-248-9387 ask for Dan $23,000

The first two pics are current, and with the exception of the hardtop the other pics are also current. I have a 1977 project
waiting in the wings to begin, so I am a motivated seller. This 82 could easily be a high dollar FJ40 for someone. The parts i
have accumulated to finish it are rust free and only need paint work to complete. It drives nice so it would be fun to own and restore
while you enjoy it. It will be listed on eBay in the next week.

Update, just installed a correct air horn with new rubber hose and factory correct clamps thanks to Schmuckter here on Mud.
Also installed a radiator overflow with washer bottle and pump with the factory bracket. These were removed (by others) to accommodate the Vintage air that I removed. i also exchanged the air cleaner for one from an Arizona 40, original paint and decals intact.
This is a very complete 40, not much missing to make it 100%. I will be installing a new set of taillights that I just received from Beno. Then I will check my inventory for a set of turn signals. All of the existing lights work I just want to see if i have cleaner ones.

Update the FJ is at the body shop for metal work and repaint. It will be for sale upon return. Then the 77 starts.

Very interested. What is being done at the paint shop and when will the truck be available? Asking Price?

We disassembled the hood, aprons, windsheild. Welded in the repair peices.Removed all the glass and the truck will be repainted and reassembled with new weatherstripping and gaskets. I have an OEM power steering set up for it. The front seats are being reupholstered with SOR covers. The rear mat is sub par so my thought was to have the upolsterer cover it with vinyl as close to the SOR covers as possible. I have new bumperettes , front bumper, license plate brackets front and rear and turn signals and mirrors. The entire brake system has been replaced, the center arm will be rebuilt and tie rod ends replaced.All the emblems will be new. As for price I will really have to see how it looks. If your looking for a deal the one Overton has for sale looks like a good one.

It will be . It is coming back from the painter next week and I will be assembling it . It should be done mid Sept. A couple of guys have expressed interest. I have a power steering setup for it.

Life has a tendency to take over , I'm in no hurry and will keep plugging away. It is turning out very nice. I might install an OEM power steering setup in this. That 77 under the tarp is getting a Lexus V8 and Aqualu body.
