I did not think I would ever sell my Land Cruiser, but plans change, so I am unfortunately putting it up for sale. I am moving to Squamish July. 1st and will not have any secure parking for it; I'll only have street parking. I'll then be heading on a road trip to Alaska during that last two weeks of July. I may be interested in a partial trade for either a 1996-1999 4Runner or 80 series Land Cruiser (price around $5k); something more suiting for the long trip. And if all goes well, I'll be spending at least 2 months backpacking in SE Asia starting in Sept/Oct.

I'm not sure exactly what it is worth, so I am just going to throw a price out of $25k and see what happens. I bought it off another MUD member last year and since owning it, I've had a ton of work done to it. I have receipts for all the work done to it listed above. It has been an absolute blast to drive/own but travel plans are taking priority now.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me. The Land Cruiser is located in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

dont do it!!! unless its a financial burden just dont!!!

I've been toying with the idea of how to keep it but once I move I won't have parking for it...only street parking. Currently I have secure underground parking so it is great. Plus, once I start traveling this fall it'll be sitting for who knows how long.

Leave it where you are now man! Pay someone to store it!

When i traveled asia i almost sold everything also both trucks and everything. Glad i decided not to.

I have thought about storing it for sure. Not knowing how long I'll be gone has me worried though. It'll be one less thing to worry about while I am gone.

I've had someone asking about frame and engine serial numbers so I thought I would post them here too. I am not sure what information you guys can get with the engine serial number; but, I'll post it just in case...

VIN: JT3BJ42C1C0002370
Frame Serial #: BJ42 - 002370
Engine Serial #: 11411 - 58010

Thanks for all the comments guys. It might be heading to a good home in the USA. I am going to mark it as "Sale Pending" for now.

Cheers!

It is going to a very good cruiser home. I know this for a fact.

;)

Congrats.
Are you adding to your personal collection? : )

Negative. But my good friend greenbeast is. :) he has an addiction just like you and I Charles.
Darn, I was hoping you had bought it so I would at least get a chance for a ride in it.
