Saudi import. No bondo. Used to be owned by Ministry of Agriculture in Najran. Bought with original paint and had it painted. Everything original. Bumper damaged during shipping. Waiting on paperwork to register in TN. Located in Chattanooga. Qatari FJ45 so has unique attributes. Pictures with Saudi plates are images of the truck with original paint.

It already is look at the bed pics! I don't need to go back and forth but if you put about 20k in yours you might can sell it for 30-35k.

I just lost interest in that beautiful Arabian paint job!

Why do they rust on the seams? Do they not use a primer? Or is the paint formulation lacking rust inhibitors?

It is fine if nobody wants the truck for free. I respond about my truck. The truck I am selling that everyone is commenting about and asking questions about. I respond based on what I know and if I don't know an answer I just say I don't know.

I didn't bring you into the conversation and I went back to make sure and I didn't see anything that you could have even perceived was about you and I couldn't find anything.

I didn't turn into that. I'm just stating the obvious. He wasn't there for the paint job and I wasn't either. I didn't see the prep work and he didn't see it either. He is saying it will rust and he is 100% sure.

Secondly, and more importantly why didn't he say that about the truck he posted. Look it up. 1979 FJ45 in Alabama. If this was someone else stating KSA paint jobs are sh*t, I really wouldn't have cared. It is just odd he only realizes this is important when I sell a truck. And we can wait half a year. I live in Chattanooga and it rains a lot. Should it be rusted by then. If it isn't, then I have an issue with his statement. His proof that it will has to do with prep work and we both weren't there to see how good of a job they did.



Thirdly, I am not a seller. I am selling a truck. And I don't wish the guy any ill regard. I hope whatever he's doing works out but I'm going to call him out when he makes a comment like this.
 
You guys should bring in as many as you can. In another 5 years probably 10 people will be importing from the middle East.

Ha. I know you will find this hard to believe but I didn't even know the guy was importing trucks. I just wanted one for myself and couldn't find one so I decided to bring one in and the truck was bought a year ago. I ended up bringing two to cut down on shipping cost and make a little money. I wouldn't care if everyone in the US could get a truck from the middle east. I just didn't like what he did. You notice I have yet to say anything about any of his trucks. Not my business and I have never seen them.

I don't care where you get your trucks from, it's your cocky attitude. Folks were trying to give you advise till you could do homework for yourself. I don't care I don't list on here anymore. I care more about learning about cruisers than thinking since I've one two in an expert. I'm not in competition with anyone, I import them to have access. I have no problem with you. Just don't use me as a measuring stick of other people that import from Saudi that don't post a lot of info on vehicle. I was minding my own business. Please import as many as you want, I'm not butt hurt. It was how you are oblivious to what u have.
 
Your all entitled to do what you want,but if I had your or his connections I would bring in a bunch,then sell at a price that more of us can afford. Just make 5000 a rig instead of $10,000 or more. You have a lot more buyers at under $20,000 then at $30,000 I guess what I'm trying to say is don't be so greedy. Or is that just to unamerican. In any case good luck to both of you

The buyer will need to assume that the engine will need to be rebuilt due to poor maintenance and the rust repair gets expensive very quickly. And it seems that you are assigning it some additional inherent value since its from Saudi Arabia which i think is wrong. An original paint rig from the US is far more valuable unless its something that was never sold stateside, which this isn't.
