Pretty cool, but why the Warn lock-outs? A '79 should have come from the factory w/ the long-body ASCOs...

Not so. I have worked on two different 1979s that came into the shop with drive plates. One paid for the conversion. The other was a flipper and only wanted critical mechanical issues sorted out.
