The shift knobs on my 78 are in good condition, but the stickers on them showing shift patterns are long gone. Anyone seen any? I really don't want to change the knobs, I'm the original owner and they're the original knobs.

You can still order an OEM one from Toyota - I just ordered one from Cruiser Dan.
Keep the original and put a new knob on there. can always put the original back on right.
Forget which parts store I was in, but they sold stickers in various shift patterns that you just stick on gear knob. They didn't last long but If you were to clearcoat or similar, I'm sure you'd get more mileage out of them.

Beno on this site too is a good source for parts he is based closer to the east coast if that is better for you.
And I wonder actually if the color is correct it just faded to that gold color after 40 years...

A new shift knob is a wonderful thing - spend the $30-ish and be done with it.
