I'm not really looking for anything specific, just something in that year range. I don't want to spend more than $40k for something that's turn key, but could also be interested in putting some work into something cheap.

I would be open to anything any yeat after 1975 for the 2f engine, but I would prefer something 79 or later to have fuel tank under the tub. Power steering is also a plus.

I really should sell one of my cruisers. Here are a few pics of my July '82 US spec. I need to put the top and doors back on as they have been off for the last couple of years. Typical late year rust but doors are perfect. We can talk more if you are interested. - Jim

I am about an hour west of Seattle and let get the top and doors back on this next weekend and I'll take "for sale" kinds of pics. I am having a hard time coming up with a price due to the rareness and that it is not restored but more of a driver. I'll say $23,000

Yep, original motor and tranny. You can see the fenders were cut, other than that just the 33 x 10.5s.

I forgot, I put a cheap ($100) JVC stereo in and those are Cityracerllc.com LED headlights.

I have a 1980 for sale 350 conversion, I did a lot work to it, rebuilt axles, all new suspension and brakes fj60 steering conversion. Hardtop off but included. I'm in Lafayette, Louisiana. $15K OBO 337-344-1190

too cheap!!! Looks like a really nice truck. The purist will tell you the front of that truck is wrong for the rest of the tub, but i am a big fan of the early bibs and spear hoods on any FJ40.
