Why no title ?

No connection to the seller but I do live in GA. You don't need a title in GA for a vehicle this old. In fact the local tag offices in some cases won't even send in a title on a vehicle this old to the state. I had to go around and around with them when I registered my 83 P/U to even get them to send it in. I eventually got to maintain a title but it was a fight.

IT would definitely help your cause if you would go get it titled in GA. It can be much more difficult in other states and take months and requirement of bonding.

I was told get VIN inspection and then its as easy as getting registered after that and apply for title.

FWIW - I titled my '77 FJ40 here in Georgia, Cherokee County. Went to the tag office, they told me I had to have a Sheriff's Deputy come out, run the vin to make sure it wasn't stolen, get the approval slip and then back to the tag office. After completing all that, I do have a Georgia title for mine. But I suspect that not all counties regulations are the same.
