1974 FJ55 Upper Tailgate Assembly Question

I'm getting ready to put the tailgate glass back in and I'm not sure what all I'm missing to make this work as it was missing most everything when I bought it. I purchased the upper tailgate seal from Slocruisers, and I think I need to get one or two strips of the mohair wipers and clips to hold everything together (one strip on the inside and one on the outside?). I went by our local glass shop and they have two different sizes, not sure which one to get? Can anyone help me on which size to get? Also, any pictures on assembly of this? I've searched, can't find anything unless it's buried in a build thread somewhere.

Great information, thanks @PabloCruise! Just to clarify, plain whisker strip on the inside and a whisker strip with wiper on the outside, right? Also, I think I might try taping the inside strip like you suggested...

IIRC, the tailgate seal you have pictured above is all you need for the outside (plus the metal strips and fasteners).
I might look at adhesive vs tape for the inner whisker strip.

I'm going to try the 3M VHB tape mentioned in this thread...

Yep, I think I found the reason why it wouldn't stick. I used the 8008 which apparently doesn't stick to EPDM weatherstripping. I found a few other car restoring forums where they mention 8011 worked, but 8008 did exactly what it did for me.... pulled right away. I did however complete the...

I used Forruner felt for the first picture. It worked perfectly using the stock clips. I cant remember the years, but must have been mid 90's.
