1974 FJ40 horn issues and unknown connector on driver's side

Replaced all grounding cables (engine and frame), positive cable to starter, and battery terminals with @Fourrunner's kit. Very heavy duty and nice. Unfortunately, still not getting horns.

Do you have a body ground? Stock location is either frame to firewall (passenger side) or engine to firewall.

Once again proving, that in electrical… “it’s an inadequate ground” is almost always the right answer. You can almost answer every question that starts, “I’m having an odd electrical iss… and just interrupted them and say “.. probably a bad ground”.

Following. Having a horn issue too in my '79. I can't locate the horn relay, (but honestly haven't put too much effort into the whole issue yet)
