Had to put a top back on this thing after hammers cause it lives outside. Hated the soft top so I sold it and put on the hard top I acquired a few months ago. The sides, glass and hatch are in great shape. The fiberglass top cap is not at all. It needs a lot of repair and not sure if I’ll try and fix it or just pony up for a new cap.
I did install gas struts on the lift gate and they work great.

Are those the AVR Custom struts? If so, I love mine and I plan on getting his set for the front hood. He went up on his prices for some reason.

Yes they are. I’ve got em for the hood too and they are awesome. Love not having to deal with the hood prop always being in the way.

Updates.
Been using this thing a lot over the summer when the weather wasn’t too hot. Even towed my boat to the lake a few times with it.
Swapped in some rear fj60 leaves and helped soften the ride. Forgot to take pictures.
A few weeks back I scored a killer deal on a Lowmax 3:1 np205. Ordered twin stick shifters and got to work. Built a t-case skid and got everything buttoned up today. Also installed an Aussie locker in the rear third, again no pictures of that. Also put on my beadlocks and 37’s of my 4Runner on it.
Taking it on its first Rubicon trip next weekend. I’ll post some pictures when I get back. Can’t wait to get this thing on the trail.
