Picking away at the little annoying stuff in between shoveling massive amounts of snow..

Got all the battery cables and grounds made up ran and secured, main power cable got an inline fuse near the battery, battery cables/trans cooler lines got some heat shielding, picked up a new alternator and the wrong belt, and got the exhaust back in with O2 sensors and some heat shielding near the trans/shifter cable.

I also had a sneaking suspicion that I forgot to torque the pick up tube bolt at the windage tray when we installed the short pan.. It was eating at me all week. So I managed to drop the pan with the motor in place and sure enough that bolt wasn't as tight as it should have been. Wasn't too bad of a job and I'm glad I didn't ignore it lol.

So... it turns out the 63s on my truck are from a 99+ truck and the front spring eye bushings and bolt are larger. The Calvert kit I got was for an 88 to 98 so it came with smaller bushings. Neat.

Called up Calvert, they solved the mystery and are sending out the right bushings.

Thats what happens when you're messing with a Frankenstein'd truck I guess lol

Science.

Lol! That’s an awesome little tool. Way too
much fun!!
The first time I tried to pulse it under pressure the injector went flying lol. Very messy but effective.

Took advantage if having the rear suspension apart and made a spacer for the passenger side saddle thing. The truck sits lower on the drivers side so I'm hoping this and the battery relocation help to even things out..

Since the injector prognosis was positive I threw the intake, fuel rails and injectors back together. All of that found it's home and got torqued down.

Whirlwhinds of activity last night.

Got the fuel lines made and ran, the regulator/filter mounted, and the vent line ran to the charcoal canister this thing interestingly still has. Make up a brake booster vacuum line and ran it to the intake as well.

My fingers are shredded lol.
