Went on alittle side trip before hitting the classic car junk yard in Casa Grande this morning. Went to see the Domes of Casa Grande.

Story is here:

Pretty funky place. Seemed smaller in person, but still pretty big. :grinpimp:

Temps were down today, so I tore into the front. The passenger side leaf spring was so rusted the center pin was toast.
Reassembly will take place tomorrow morning. Got to get it done to take to Prescott Saturday.

Got the front back together and went for a spin. So much better. Now my butt does not bounce off the seat when you hit a bump. :bounce:

How’s the rig running in the Phoenix heat?

I bet that junk cruiser’s cluster has a CHG gauge. Doors look like they might still be usable. Can’t believe with as much picked over that this still had the embossed bezel. Incredible!

I really haven't driven it much lately but it does okay in the heat. It's really too hot to drive with no top though.

I got wipers......well for looks at least. Don't have them wired yet. I got these blades from RockAuto. They snap right onto the arm and are inexpensive unlike the wrong blades I ordered from SOR.

Hey Jack hope the car show went well. On our way to Sin City Darlene and I saw many classic cars heading south on 89 towards Watson Lake and the show area.

Took the 61 up to Prescott for the Watson Lake Car Show. It was a great time and even got rained on, which was nice cause it was alittle hot. The show has a good swap meet and an antique engine fire up area. Cool stuff.

The 61 drew in a good number of people. Most were surprised it was so old.
