I’ve pretty much known since our move away from Phoenix a few years ago that I could not keep this beautiful survivor anymore but I have put off the inevitable as long as I could. It’s time to let her go. I’m putting this out on mud first, she doesn’t need much more to get her running and roadworthy most of the heavy lifting is complete. Will use these funds to finish up the FJ28 project that has been my top priority.
I don’t have the most up to date photos but here are a few. I’ll probably be back in Phoenix in the next month or two to take more if it has not sold by then. PM me with any questions.
Only asking for what I have in this beauty - $30k firm. Please be kind in your comments I’m just trying to recoup most of what I have invested. Happy to show buyers the spreadsheet with all of those costs. Lots of parts, and the cost of the floors, soft top etc was not cheap. If it doesn’t sell I’ll finish it myself someday…

- Patina has been preserved with a clear coat.
- Refurbished wiring harness from Coolerman included (not installed)
- Brand new green factory style soft top, including extra fabric for completing the included FJ25 FST doors. Also have the door safety straps for when you want to run it without doors.
- New Traxion tires on original FJ25 wheels
- New factory correct red upholstery on the seats.
- New floors, with factory ribbing and some acid patina treatment to somewhat match the rest of the truck.
- Lots of other new parts ready to go, switches, reflectors, emblems etc. Should have pretty much everything to complete a 100% factory correct FJ25 FST.
- New Old Stock (NOS) windshield glass will come with her ready to be installed
- SD40 carb included, with the blue plate.
- Denso clamshell heater included.
- Both electric and vacuum wipers included, you choose which to install.
- Only thing it does not have is the factory PTO and winch, which most of us know are incredibly rare this one never had one from factory.
- Correct early tool roll and RK bottle jack available to the buyer at extra cost if desired.
- Original F135 Engine spins freely and just needs to be gone through. Everything should be there. I have not run it under my ownership.
- The transmission needs some love. I dropped it and had been soaking it but never had the time to really go through it. Including a couple of spare partial transmissions for any parts new owner may need.
- Installing wiring harness, new switches
- Installing NOS windshield
- Finishing upholstery on FST doors.
