If there wasn't Bill's kit I would have went ACE before even thinking about a parts warehouse chinacom refurb. Lots of other enthusiast sites have members that say good things about them.

Since Mattman and myself put ours in about the same time, I'll let you know when mine goes caput, seeing it has 130K on it with new brushes I'm hoping to get another 100K out of it and maybe then I'll have enough scratch to get a new OEM Sequoia from Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeno.

why they want ( or we want ) your alt put more than 14.4V ..? 14.7 plus are not too much to our batteries ?

Actually he said up to 14.7 which is okay, above that is an issue. 14.2 to 14.7 is normal range.
