Knights Inn (which used to be Red Carpet).

Red roof is your best bet Kowboy

I’ve stayed at Knights but will never again. And I’m not too picky if that tells you anything.

Thanks folks. I had the Red Carpet/Red Roof deal all confused. The reviews for the Knights Inn make for some entertainin' readin'.

I'm booked at the Red Roof now. Poolside, king bed for 74 bucks a night.

:flamingo:

Unfortunately @CatskillsRunner and I won’t be making this event.

We will indeed miss our CLC and Southern friends.

Best.

makes me sad.

I just booked lodging. I’ll be roughing it at the Red Roof.

Called yesterday.
ALL spots are full, nothing RV, or RV overflow was available.

I said something about overflow on the hill and oh yea you can put a tent, I said my tent is 53’.....

We are gonna stay at the KOA.

See yawl there.

I booked a tent spot at the KOA. I guess it doesn't matter that my tent is on top of my trailer.

Your good!
When you say 53’ trailer they kinda said ahhh no more room.

They did have a cancellation list going so if you want to add your name to it for a RV spot.

My suggestion to anyone that thinks they may come next year (2019) is that you reserve your spot during the event this year. The park was 90% booked on Sunday when we left the park last year. You can always cancel if you find you aren't gonna be able to make it. We get calls every year about helping find a spot for someone. The BOD tries to stay out of it. First come first served. We love the fact that the event is so popular but spaces are limited and they sell out quickly. See y'all there!

Also Please tell the KOA that you are there for the Southern Cruiser Crawl and they have given a discount in years past. Not sure if they still are but it's worth a shot ;-)

To clarify for first - timers. Just because the camping is full does not mean the event is full.

Thank goodness! Because I was looking through this thread and second guessing whether or not there were any spots open. Thankfully I live close enough (~30 min) to the park that I don't really need to camp if it's all full. Registering now!

To clarify for first - timers. Just because the camping is full does not mean the event is full.

Also, if you are tent camping, there is usually overflow.

We will get you in somewhere so don't let that stop you from coming. RV's may be a different story but we always seem to work that out as well. See y'all there!
