Hello all have any of you had a shift kickdown cable that is intermittently sticky? Sometimes my gears will not shift so I get out and find that the cable is sticking out not returning tothe liner. Once I put it back in, it’ll work fine again this happens maybe once out of every four times I drive the Cruiser. Is this the cable and liner wearing out or is there some sort of return spring mechanism in the transmission that is faulty? Either way I’d like to figure out a solution become before it becomes a permanent problem. The picture is from a different vehicle that had a similar problem but is the same look as what mine is doing. Thanks for your insight.
