I'd like to thank GCLC for putting on a really good event. It was mine and my wifes first event like this. She has already shown interest in coming back next year and has also been letting me know that there are things the cruiser needs. Like power steering, front locker (thanks guys) and someone who can drive it

We also had some great neighbors. My wife really enjoyed talking to Cole and watching how ingenous he was on some of things he did. Karl, you've got a great son. J P good luck on your trailer. Gary you were a great trail leader, I really think that made a big impression. And it was great meeting some really nice people and getting to put some faces with names.

Again, Thanks to everyone for a great time

Tom & Elaine

Thus the question becomes ...just how many people can sleep in landwagons doorless truck on a drizzley Saturday night ???   and please somebody post some pics up of John (aka the FJ60 u-boat captain) excursion into the swimming hole on Friday

Thanks everyone at GCLC for hosting the event! Had a great time on and off the trail + the dinner was very tasty:)
Also wanted to thank Tom, Matt, Dave, Jerry, Chris and everyone else who helped with the steering box repair! Thanks for the use of the the tools and welder...hope I can return the favor someday!!

I've been collecting all the links to pics and adding them to the GCLC gallery (one stop shopping for pics).
Here's the link...

If anyone wants to add a trail report, PM me and I'll add it to your link. Let me know if I need to make any name corrections.

If you don't have a link to pics and have a trail report I can add that too.

Great shots everyone!

I only have the aftermath shot. Who knew a bumper could make such a great clothesline? I had another great CMCC. Thanks to GCLC and everyone who came out to make it the great experience it was!

my favorite discussion was when Woody was talking about wheeling his old 40 and he used to coat the whole engine with Scotchguard to keep it from getting wet during a river crossing. I added that if he wouldn've coated the socks, they wouldn't have gotten wet either :grinpimp:

Thanks to the Gotham City guys for another great Coal Mine event. Weather for wheeling was the absolute best (except for the rain Saturday night) one could have asked for. Great food, great people, and the campground was even enjoyable this year. Didn't hear any real complaints about the campground.

This was the best Coal Mine since moving to Rausch in my opinion and the turnout was fantastic. FJCruisers multiply like rabbits! Rausch does indeed offer a wide variety of trails, enough variety to satisfy almost any group. The change this year to pay for only the days you wheel is great- saved me personally $35 and surely saved money for many others. Dave Crum and crew did a great job and hopefully this event will continue to be held annually for a long time. Gary S (Shmukster)

CMCC was great! Thanks for everybody that help me fix my truck. Especially John Smith for having that diff plug tap. Amazing! Also big thanks to Brian "bumble bee" for taking me to the parts store even though we got the wrong stuff. LOL

^ Holy crap that looks deep. Won't see me in there. So who waded in there to attach the tow strap?

Kenny and David who were driving the cream colored 80 series. They were both in shorts and sandals so they didn't get soaked :) We took our lunch break after the trucks climbed back out of that area and that was the first time Johnny hung his socks out to dry. That is the best moment of Friday's run for me.
