Awesome update! I've been on the list for a good long while. This is quite exciting to see something like this actually happening for these old trucks. 😎

This is our basically stock 2006 LX470. Just hit 195k miles on the old gal. 50k of which was our doing. (It even still has working Night Vision :P )

The first assembled Revision A prototype hardware has arrived.

This marks the transition from reverse engineering and design into hardware validation. The next phase is bench bring-up, firmware loading, subsystem verification, and finally in-vehicle testing.

There is still work ahead, and I fully expect Revision A to uncover things that can be improved.

The objective of this revision is to validate the architecture and begin exercising the complete hardware and firmware stack in a real vehicle.

It’s satisfying to finally have physical hardware ready for the bench.

Thanks to everyone who’s continued following the project. Hopefully the next major update includes the first successful in-vehicle HVAC control from the prototype.
