@cruiserpatch I messaged RCV about stock length axles for the 100 series just last week. They stated that if the initial order is 20 units or more, they will produce a batch. Anyone interested in a group buy???

Edit: RCV has a 10 set minimum for us, and we already have 7 sets accounted for. We can go above the 10 if there is demand.

Someone should ask RCV if they addressed their orange silicone boots. I had RCVs when I had a long travel Tacoma and micro-tears would develop pretty frequently (aka CV grease would fling out every few trips). Lots of reboot jobs. At that time (this is a few years back), they were quite adamant that you use their specific high-temp CV grease to fall in line with any warranty type of situations. It got to a point I was using a flexible silicone to glob over the micro-tears to prevent the grease from flinging further. There's a bunch of people who had my experience. I would opt for the rubber boots if they have them vs the silicone.

Nah, this was just a FYI with my experience with RCV. I'm probably gonna stick with the regular CVs. I'm getting worn out on spending money on my 100. LOL
I've heard that from multiple people so do need to ask them anyway.

Need to get wheel spacers and new shocks / coils for the rear (and the RCVs) and this will be done (kidding - its never done).

Yea, seen all the work on your guys' rigs via the Savage Fab IG, looks great and sure performs like a dream. I'm just going to take a breather and reserve these dreams for another day. Or decade.
 
I'm opening pre-orders for 100 Series RCVs on CruiserPatch.com -

Currently offering OEM length and +3.5" length (works with Savage Fab setup). For custom lengths, reach out to me via PM, email, etc.

The initial engineering cost will be covered by me (I'm sending them a new OEM CV, part number 43430-60040).

Pre-orders start at $1,400 ($2,800 for a set) but as more folks order them, cost will decrease and the final figure may be closer to $2,300 for a set.

I asked Christian about the boots and he said they've since gone through three iterations of boot and use a new polyurethane orange boot now.

He said to-date he has not heard of any issues with the latest design and is happy to help anyone who has issues of this nature.
