Heading back over to Alex’s house/shop to continue/finish small things like bump stops, limit strap and steering stops.

That looks epic! I would be curious on steering angle through the stroke of the suspension. How much if any the total toe will change.

Got it finally together last night. Set the steering stops, bump stops and limit straps. They need to be adjusted and fine tuned and I need an alignment, but other than that. Ready to wheel and test it.

Over the new couple months I’ll be fine tuning the limit straps and working with Dave at Savage fab to optimize a few things on the kit. So far, super happy with it.

Biggest difference besides the flex is how much smoother it absorbs the terrain. Also, this was not full bump or droop. We ran out of rock to flex on in the back yard.

How are the new handling characteristics?

Are the CVs just extended stock ones?

Anyone else who has this kit want to chime in with how it's going? How's it ride at highway speeds vs wheeling? Any concerns or recommendations for wheels needed to maximize travel? I just saw that the kits are now live here:

I’ll let Zach chime in. Mine is still w/ Dave (it’s the black one in his pictures and videos).

At highway speeds, it’s smooth. Tracks straight. Doesn’t sway around.

I am taking it out wheeling on new years. But as for daily driving, the small bump compliance is 100x better. It’s truly amazing at how it completely absorbs everything. My kings havent come in for the rear, so in comparison it feels like I don’t have shocks on the back vs the front. That’s how huge the difference is in bump compliance, and smoothness over rough stuff.

Will report back after wheeling, but everything will be better and I’m looking forward to climbing over some big stuff!!

Care to post some more photos? I’m dying for a long arm but currently saving for a house…

Calling RCV tomorrow to get a quote for some stock length axles.

I'd like to get in as a dealer with them- I'll open the floor for pre-orders on CruiserPatch.com if tomorrow's conversation goes well enough.

Ideally I'd love to run RCVs on my truck so I don't have to replace them every 20 minutes- I know a lot of folks have discussed RCVs for the 100 in the past but it finally seems to be getting traction with all these long travel setups getting made.

Super cool to see all this aftermarket support for the 100 since more folks are pushing them hard

Sent you a message on Instagram with more details from Zach and my conversations with RCV. Should be helpful for your call.

Finally got my Savage Fab long travel kit installed and got my truck back from Dave. Truck drives great - I’ll post some more pics sometime this week. Now just need to get the rear suspension dialed in.

@cruiserpatch I messaged RCV about stock length axles for the 100 series just last week. They stated that if the initial order is 20 units or more, they will produce a batch. Anyone interested in a group buy???
