^ ok well you do it to your truck first and then I 'll follow your directions:p

lol. it will be a while before I muster the guts to take sand paper and bedliner to my 100. I've been thinking about taking the 100 down a notch towards stock and picking up a beater trail rig. Something like a 40, or similar (no jeep). I had the 80 hotness for a while. If anybody wants to trade a beat built 80 for a beat built 100 let me know :)

yeah mine is a DD, im worried bc of a bad paint job = rust, not so much the vanity part all though my wife would kill me if I bedlined the interior or the whole truck.

Nick, if you do the beadliner, just do from the trim panels down. That doesn't look bad at all in my opinion.

Gotta keep that 100 until next Aug for the Ouary trip!

The problem isn't below the doors, it's the door panels and fenders. I guess I'm that .000000001% that wheels a truck much harder in places a full size SUV shouldn't be.

first shot was Kodak. Driver door.
Second River Rock- entire side of rig
third Durhamtown- passenger door and trim. Part of lower rocker panel

do all ARB sahara's come painted? I don't think I've seen a black sahara  either that or everybody gets them color matched.

edit...just googled it. Can't find any standard black. must come painted.

with the green accents? it was pretty hideous. I'm not a fan of black 100's at all.

And bedliner kills all hope of resell. Not that a 2000 Cruiser is some sort of collectors item, it just narrows your buying field down to 2 or 3 17 year old boys.

im not planning to sell mine......ever

I do think seeing nicks damage I would:
A. wheel it and not worry (laugh at mall cruisers like me)
B. just paint whole thing if it is that bothersome
C. dedicate it as trail rig and buy another vehicle to DD.

I would not try to repair/cover your damage with bedline unless, like Nolen said, you have a 17 year old to buy it when you are done bashing it.

Nick will you be at SCC...I want to see what my rig has POTENTIAL to do but not achieve your paint job:D

Shush.....are you going to take it auto shows.....NO. Wheel it and worry with paint later. My 62 was in perfect shape no rust no dents. It has dents now they hurt at first but I have a story for everyone. Land Cruisers are made to be driven off road.

Get a 911 and have good looking paint...

Bomar that's what I suggested to Nick "wheel it and not worry (laugh at mall cruisers like me)"

that's my mentality as well I just think it can look decent and save the metal with paint in the process.

I don't like sports cars...

Where is SCC? If it's reasonable I'll see. I'm all about showing people what a 100 can do. I'm not a web wheeler like some. I still have one good panel left and that is the passenger rear door. The paint is shredded on that door though, but it's the only one that is straight! I've recovered a few smashes but as it stands I have the following fenders/doors mangled. I've been pretty thankful I have been able to pull most of the dents, however the rippliness (word?) is still there. It's a trail rig for sure, but my DD as well. I get some very awkward looks by dudes in their shiny 100's. I love the expression. the worst damage was my avatar, the wall gave way and entire truck landed on the driver side panels. I was lucky it was somewhat soft dirt so it pushed it out of the way, but left many scratches and small dents on the fenders.

-Driver front fender kinked, was hit by the ARB upon dropping the truck on it.
-Lower rocker panels upfront is kinked because I missed the slider somehow on both sides
- Front passenger fender is crumpled from tree
- Front passenger door was caved in (pic above)
-Driver rear door was put into a retaining wall
-driver rear quarter panel was dragged along a tree/wall/many things
-Passenger rear quarter panel was also hit by tree
-Driver door had the weight of the vehicle on it dragging on a rock
-The underbody is trashed, frame is slightly tweaked on the passenger side.

It needs a new paint job and quite a bit of body work if it were ever to be sold. As it stands I would be shocked to get somewhere near 7K for it. Probably close to 5K trade in value.

Is it bad that dents don't hurt anymore? It's one of those things now where when I see sheet metal touch something and it doesn't even make me flinch. I bought the truck from my dad when I was 18 after working 16 hour shifts parking cars and mowing yards. My god it sucked! But it was worth every penny
