Nope. She’s running like a top. I’m sure it’s on my head but I feel like acceleration and responsiveness of pedal are better.

So you think having spark to all 8 cylinders is a good thing?

All in your head.

I'm in Memphis, anyone have a lead on a OEM tow hitch for a 2005 Landcruiser?

If any of you 100 series guys are thinking about making the move to the steel rear bumper, is there any chance you’d sell me the inner bumper supports, brackets, mounting bolts, hitch, Etc for the stock setup? My wife’s 100 had a steel bumper and the PO kinda just jimmy rigged the oem bumper skin back on there. Trying to get it back to stock.

also looking for a river rock green mica bumper skin as well as the little wind deflector.

Spent the day going over the 100 for Berkley. Has a little vibration hum at speed so I checked my bearings and CVs

Mud says it’s likely the rear driveshaft so I just ordered a new one from Brookhaven Toyota. About $150 more than buying gold Ujoints and having Jackson Powertrain install and no down time.

All the rest is good to go. Crazy this thing is only 2 years from a classic car tag

That's a '98, correct?

I spent a bunch of money with @Onur . The 1999 100 Series has been eating aftermarket CV axels since an insurance claim used Autozone parts while I was away from home for 4 months.

Coming up on 290K miles, with no intention of selling, it was time to make the front-end right with Toyota.

I hit up @Onur, and just as he has done for most of the last 20 years, he took extra time on the phone, talking me through the solution.

I use a shop that isn’t familiar with Land Cruisers, but are honest guys and fairly priced. From the Northeast, @Onur fills the gap of needed experience to my Toyota problems.

We settled on replacing everything a mechanic will touch (less caliper) while replacing the CV on the D/S, and just the CV on the P/S as it has had no issues.
