^^^ Yes. Funny...we've put 95K on ours in the same time you put 25k? on yours. Ridiculous.

So, what was it?

dont really know yet. spent the day at 49 again. they replaced the front passenger side O2 sensor.....but they couldnt get it to act up....i picked it up yesterday afternoon when nolen dropped me off.

i drove home and put it in park in the drive way and let it idle for about 4 minutes and it did it again. 5 codes. random cylinder misfire. misfire on 2-4-6-8 and bank 2 lean. etc....

i ordered 8 new denso coils, they will be here tomorrow. i will probably stab them in on sunday and have chris replace the other 3 o2 sensors....

that will eliminate a lot of the guessing. short of an intake leak somewhere, i dont know. another thought is the fuel pump over heating....

***i know it's not the snorkel, as it has done this before and after the install.

I don't throw codes, but m y pump has put me on the side of the road twice in exactly those conditions. Add in that i had less than 1/4 tank.

Since then i just stay away from low fuel on hot days during long drives. No issues since.

were you able to let it sit and then restart after about 15-20 minutes later and drive fine?

the truck was sitting on about half of a tank yesterday, but chris drove it a lot harder than i did......and no issues....

Sounds exactly like the massive GM fuel pump issues. The pumps would burn up if the fuel got too low to properly cool it.

Yes. 30 mins of cool down and it fires right up and runs great.

I've never had the issue around town. Only on long road trips. But what you are describing sounds like the pump to me. I don't think they are expensive or even that hard to change out (access through panel under 2nd row). I would change it out...

thanks for the feedback....i think i will do this....im texting @wct49 right now about it....

but figured i'd change out the plugs too, since i went ahead and ordered 8 new deno coils....
