Looks like the deal for Jace's aunt's 2001 has fallen through.

So we are looking for a 2000 - 2003 with around 180k in grey, silver, white, or blue. Prefer non-nav.
Mods are fine, but good maintenance is a must.

We are considering Redcrayon's post from Meridian, but it has 220K.

Thanks for the help!

I've tried twice to loosen the bolt shown in this picture, no luck. Large socket, cheater pipe, NOTHING will break it loose.

I guess heat will be next, but to be honest I'm starting to worry about breaking it and really getting it in a bind.

Shush didn't you do a diff drop? You have any trouble with this bolt?

Have you tried vibrating them loose with a pneumatic torque wrench? Worked well on my 40.

Yes, forgot to mention that. No change, did not budge.

I'm leaving for FLA friday and am dropping off my truck at the dealer for the 90k. Think I may just get them to break it loose, then snug back up. Then i can pick it up next week, drive it home, and give it another shot...that's the plan now anyway.

Worst case, you could cut it off.

Side note - my impact loses some power if I haven't oiled it in a while. I always run it at a little higher psi than the safety police recommend.

My impact got that bolt off after a few soaks in kroil. Tried putting a jack under it and lift just a tad to relieve a bit of the pressure on it?

I've used half a can, and yes, had the jack there. I think most of my problem is that I don't have enough jacks to get good clearance (and good leverage) when under the truck. Hopefully the dealer will handle it while it's in there.

Saint. I used kroil overnight heat and took pressure off with a jack. My truck has zero rust too.

I would think dealer could get it. Good luck.

Well my 100 moved to SC today. It's getting lockers, armor and more at ACC next month fellow mudder flew in today to pick herup. Great transaction....posted it Tuesday I think and she is tucked into a new garage tonight. ( made it less painful knowing it would be loved).

New job with an hour commute is pushing me back into a car but we are all ready browsing for 40s.....but that's for another thread.

Please buy one that is already built! lol
