Truck here...have garage fit issues

I got the truck in and after taking the seats and other crap out. It is too tall and I have about 60 gallons of fuel. So my roof rack will be going under the knife.

I am going to deflate the tires to get it out in am...then take rack off at the shop. Figure out if I am going to cut top hoop off or sell the rack.

How she running? Glad to see she made it home.

Did a little research but thought I'd ping the collective wisdom here.

CEL + VSC/TRAC + VSC OFF warning lights came on last night. Was wondering what the experience here is with this problem - 2004 100 series with 130,000 miles.

I need to get a parts store to hook up an OBDII to read the codes but it sounds like the codes won't very well pinpoint the issue.

O2 sensor?

Catalytic convertors?

Heavy rains and flooded roads lately - shorted something out?

What's the drill here?

Thanks.

TJK

Following up.

B2 S1 A/F Oxygen Sensor

I went dark with mine, below the legal limit, which i really like. Can't remember the exact shade. I put it on every single window, so didn't have to worry about color matching, etc.

just happy I don't own a 100....

tint comes in different colors? unreal.

Ha! I usually look around in Copper State Cruisers when I want to see guys getting scrappy with eachother!

FWIW I inspected the bronze tint in the 80 at an LSLC meeting...it's exactly what I'd put in my 99 100 if I was looking.

Noticed it three days ago under 20 mph where sound can bounce of a fence or wall.

Sounds like metal on metal rubbing. I thought it was axle related but when foot is taken off gas and coasting noise goes away?

So what on the accelerator linkage or drivetrain would squeal like metal on metal grinding. Slight noise but consistent.

Any ideas ?

Is it a consistent sound or is it intermittent, like "wah, wah, wah...?" May sound stoopid, but have you checked all four sets of brake pads?

Rotated tires, brakes are good, no wear or rubbing.
I'm wondering if the front bearings need to be repacked.....it's not a humming noise though ....just a steady metal on metal when under load....or knuckles?

All fluids are fresh: diffs, transfer, and tranny

Not thinking ujoints as its at the wheel and not centered under the truck....all though I may do ujoints to reduce neutral to drive shift thunk.

Who is happy with there current tire size and tire on there 100?

Shush don't answer...please

I am looking for a skinny 34. The tire size I want to go with is a 285/75/17 Toyo Open Country AT2.. It is 34x11. I loved this size on my 4Runner on the Nitto's

The AT2 in this size has the extreme feature so bigger voids and nicer side wall 3 ply sidewall also.

Or just stay with the 18s and go 295.70.18

Just would like to have bigger tires than the 285.65.18 BFG ATs

I have 305 Nitto TG on mine. Took a little getting used to (and they do rub a bit at full lock) but I love them.

Mine are Nitto Terra Grapplers, in 275/70/18.

I almost bought the 295's, but backed off at the last minute. And now...I wish I would have.

From a looks standpoint, I do like the 18" wheel look on the 100 better than the 15" though. I know the 15's give you more sidewall, but they look a little funny to me.

I have 305 TG's on mine as well. I also agree with Nolen that skinny tires on a 100 look out of place. Don't know why, because they ride well, but they just look funny.

Also, JBo you said 285/70-17 tires. What 17s are you considering?
