Looking to buy my first 100 series. Hope to gain some knowledge from you all while looking for my LC.
This looks like a good one but doesn’t meet some of my requirements. What do you all think?

How's the underbody/rust situation? It seems a little high but not crazy if the condition is as nice as the photos make it look. I see it wrecked and had airbags deployed. Price seems a little high now. Maybe use that as a negotiation tool if you really want it.

Accident in 2022 with airbag deployment. That would be an issue for me.

I’m not going to buy this car because it’s not black. If it was black I would already be in a plane to check under the car myself (even with hydrolic suspension) But I’ll get an answer for you. I’ll call them when they open.

Black without suspension will be tough to find and will sell before you will be able to see it.

Will need to compromise or remove suspension and or wrap it black.

How much is fair to you for a 2006?

That 06 might be worth $17k if it's not too rusty. $21.5k is a premium price for an 06, and this one has Denver history, bad front seats, serious accident and not low miles. I think the luster is off the 06-07s - they're high maintenance vehicles in the context of the 100 series, interference motors with a timing belt. A Californian should be holding out for a dry vehicle.

Nice to see all the feedback and opinions on this one. We’re 100 series shopping for my wife in this specific color. I found this one a week ago and was excited at first due to the visual condition in the photos and not terribly high mileage but the accident history and high price made me pass. I think I would prefer an 03-05, non-AHC version as well. Curious to see how long this one sits at the dealer.

Not worth it. I was looking at this one myself and noticed that A) it's being sold by a dealer. and B) it had deployed airbags. May be worth it if you lowball at 10k. If they say no deal, then walk and don't sweat it.

I’d take black with hydro suspension. Gonna compromise somewhere for sure. That one that sold on here a few months ago was sold before it was listed I feel.

Well said! Thanks

Here’s the underside. Pretty surface rusted out. Not horrible, not great.
