I took the design off of someone on here maybe ntsaint.

The carpet is speaker box carpet, probably not the most durable but it is cheap and easy to work with.

I did make a dummy panel to place over the slide when the fridge is not there.

That there is a brilliant solution! Very well executed. I like my original KISS drawers. But, a solution like yours could be just what the doctor ordered to cure my boredom during this whole shelter in place stuff.

Drawer update...

I installed the front faces and locking compression latches. Pretty stoked

Great build. Have you considered Raptor liner or similar? I carpeted mine and sprayed raptor liner on the fronts. Drawers are one my most enjoyed mods to date... I like having so much with me all the time and the clean uncluttered look they offer.

Yeah something of the sort. I don't have a good place to spray anything right now so anything I do would be roll on. I want a textured finish so bedliner would probably do the job but I have also looked at doing something with a little more give/rubber, like a marine coating you would spray in the bottom of a fishing/duck boat.

Really digging these set ups.

Monstaliner. It’s a bedliner with texture but smooth to the touch and no snags. I did my whole 100 exterior in it and will use it for my drawer build.

This is so impressive! I started following this build the day you started it and I'm for sure going to do the same with my truck! I love that little slide out table and the three separate compartments. What I'm going to do different for mine though is to use push to open slides so I won't have to use any latches, and finish it off in a gray carpet, similar to the ARB drawers.

Thanks! It’s been a fun project. I have definitely gotten a lot of help from checking previous builds on this forum

Thanks for the input. I have liked what I’ve seen of monstaliner before on small projects. I just ordered a gallon of Medium Gray

I'm in the process of building my drawers system and I have to say, kudos to anyone who has tackled this project themselves. Its deceptively difficult and not nearly as easy as it initially seems.

Couldn’t agree more. Post up some pics when you get a chance

It's coming together.

I replaced the first pull out table with a 3/4 slab of something a little nicer than plywood.

Got the front wings installed, did some bondo work, got the first round of sanding done.

I also added threaded inserts for the L-brackets supporting the side wings as well as the front wings for easy removal.

Monstaliner is on its way... If things go well hopefully I can get it painted next week.

Dude, you gotta make up some plans with a cut list for this! Good call on what looks like butcher block material!

You got the best DIY drawers I ever seen. Better than the commercial one they sell.
