The most comfortable and practical seat I ever had in any car was on a 2007 Grand Caravan SXT.
The cloth material felt a bit like velour mixed with some nylon, never hot or sweaty even in mid summer Miami weather, never had to clean them, even though I was always dirty from working on cars, wish I still had that van..
Also wish I could find the perfect seat for my 100.
Re-upholstered with Ridies, still good condition leather, but I’m pissed at the foam bottom which I replaced at great expense, and it already collapsed on my left butt cheek, not even 2 years since new.
Why can’t we change seats in modern cars anymore???
My VW bug had MK2 GTI seats, my MK3 GTI had Volvo seats, my gen1 civic had some racing something don’t remember the name, I even drove a VW bus for months with a home chair bottom till I had money to buy a bench.. why not today?
Anyway, if I see a Dodge GC van with those seats I’ll try and take a sample of the cloth to identify the material, I’m sure is better and possibly cheaper that a dead cow..
