Has anyone tried 88650-60b60 ac amp? Seems like there are a few on eBay and it’s only one number off. I don’t like the idea of possibly causing damage to the ac system with a toggle or relay. I also sent an email to DENSO to see if they have any replacement boards that we could use or if we could special order the board but they have not messaged me back. I wonder if we could get enough people to commit to buy the board if they would make another run of them.

Boys,
I would go with the GROM system with your original nav over the Teyes. The Teyes sucks complete doggy dicks. There was also a service that would upgrade your factory nav screen to something with higher resolution, but I don't remember who offers it.

If you need a guide to the JerryB harness, I made a video on the complete install. The harnesses are not that hard to make.
Here is a link: NAV Delete video

Does anyone have the Toyota part number for the M9 connector as that seems to be the most difficult to come by. aliexpress no longer has the link and it opened to a multitude of connectors. If you have a 3D printer or access to one, you can print it.

My first choice is to get the OEM nav delete but I have a 2006 with 11/2005 build so as far as I know I need to find the 88650-60b80 board to do it without relays or transistors which I want to avoid. If someone has that board they are not using let me know. I looked into the harness parts and looks like they aren’t too hard to get other than the m9 connector.

The Nav Delete is the way to go, but according to my supplier, the kits are becoming very hard to find. He only had 5 left and I have had two guys contact me with questions. If you can snag a kit now, I would. And, the whole thing is very expensive... looking at around 2K or more when its all said and done. depending on what head unit you go with.

I’d love to pickup a nav delete kit for my 2007 LX. I’ll send you a PM!

While searching for the elusive 88650-60b80 board I came across two more boards from later model land cruisers with the only difference being the letters (88650-60k80, 88650-60u80). Any chance we could modify the harness connections to make them work?

I have a 2006 LC with a 11/2005 build date. I used the 88650-60810 AC Amp and grounded the A45 #7 wire. Have not had an issue in almost 2 years. Hope this helps someone.

So just to clarify you didn’t have to use any transistors or relays all you did to make it work was ground the one wire? Compressor turns off like it is supposed to? Also do you happen to have any pictures of how and where you grounded it? Thanks

I used JerryB's harness also, but yes that is all I had to end up doing. I unfortunately dont have any pictures. I just spliced a wire with a ring connector to it and ran it to the best ground spot I could find back there. Now for the compressor, I dont know for sure, I havent noticed anything out of the ordinary. Feel free to message me if you have a good way for me to test if the compressor engages and disengages properly so we can be sure.

I had a few questions for those that have done the conversion. Is there any way to tell when the newer amp is required? I have an 06 with a 11/05 build date mine doesn’t have the on/off airbag light. I was just wondering if something like that means they used the older parts and the 05/2005 board would work. Trying to find out before I sink the 2-3k it would probably cost to do the conversion.

For the head unit and amp install what are y’all using to connect to factory harness? Are there kits that can be bought from metra, axxess, PAC, maestro or does that need to be made?

you need the newer board 88650-60b80. The airbag light has nothing to do with it, its just a few wires you have to add to make it work if it has it. I read that the AC compressor may not work properly if you use an older board (but don't quote me on that). The thing with 88650-60b80 is that its impossible to get unless somebody sells you one. As far as connecting everything, you can hard wire everything or build a wiring harness. There is no wiring harness you can buy to make it work.

those are my old setup....

most of them are plug&play. which ever factory plug you can plug in they should be fine.

the airbig error can be removed by connecting extra two pins with head units, I already left the connector over there.
