Looks great Beast.

When you tinted your windows did it decrease the appearance of the reflective tint in the rear windows? I have a 2000 in Black, and the see-through Bronze tint just screams 2001 at me. I have been wondering if adding a 5% on the inside will decrease the bronziness (my word and I am proud of it .

Didn't make mine more or less "mirror-ish" (I have the same tint % as Beast on the rear, but slightly darker on the front windows). I'd post a picture of the before after but this isn't my thread and it's about another members rig.

Wow that looks fantastic! Is that your garage? I'm jealous of the lift!

It is my Dad's pride and joy, I am just lucky enough to go over and use it when I need to

I tried to get the tint to match up all around, unfortunately there is no way to do that with the bronzed/mirrored glass unless you replace the actual glass . Like 2000UZJ said, didn't make it less "mirrorish" (is that a word Nick?? :flipoff2:) mine is 15% drivers/passenger and 5% rear. At different angles it comes close to matching, but you can still see the mirrored effect. Pretty much got rid of the bronze though. Look at this thread #1 & #15 for my before and after tint pics.

Do you still have your factory rear bumper? :hhmm::hhmm::hhmm:

Mines not looking so good

Last time we rode your bumper wanted to come off...
Yep, still got it though. The bumper and the receiver are for sale. My old bumper would look GREAT on your rig
When we wheelin' again??

"mirrorish" - I just woke up, had to think of a word quickly :D

I'll be home this weekend, hopefully my HID's come in tomorrow and when I get home they can go in. Sandy Springs is supposed to get 3" of rain tomorrow. What's it look like up where you are? I'll keep an eye on Amicalola and see how much rain they get. Since I've been itching to get up there again. My bumper always wanting to come off.... just waiting for that moment.

You have a lift in your garage!? I just showed the wife your photo and she gave me the stink-eye. Ok, sorry. What were you saying something about grip? 3M makes some industrial grade tape. I've used it on my boat trailer. I will try to recon some product #s.

I want a lift in my garage.:crybaby:

3M grip tape from home depot. cheap and works well. I've got some on the sliders, and on my ARB for when I climb up it onto the hood to get onto the roof. Bedliner wont provide nearly as much holding friction as the tape

Your truck is looking great....

Did you have to adjust your t-bars after the bumper install? Looking at the pics, the front gap looks a bit higher than the rear.. but that might just be the ground.

I'm dropping my truck off on Thursday @Slee and am still on the fence trying to decide between the 1.5" 865's and the 2.5" 860's. Does the t-bar extension have any effect on the quality of the ride or the minimum recommended droop?

Thanks!!

My t-bars could be adjusted a little, but they are ok right now. I am :bounce2:patiently :bounce2:awaiting the arrival of my front bumper and sliders from Mike @ Bumpitoffroad. Once the front bumper and sliders are installed, I will do a final adjustment on the t-bars. Slee's rear bumper definately brought the rear end down a little, but, of course, it is a great bumper!! I am sure I will end up with some heavier springs than the 860's before it is all over.
I would go with the 860's, I hate the IFS, wish we could go higher...

Hope the armour gets here before the road trip with the :princess: to Colorado...
